About Inzana Outfitters

Our History

Inzana Outfitters was established in 1964 as a big game hunting destination in North Central British Columbia, Canada. Paul and Marilyn bought Inzana Outfitters in 1998 and moved all operations to their private ranch near Pinchi Lake, which is located in the southern end of the 3000 sq. mile guiding territory. Paul and Marilyn improved the infrastructure of the business by adding the log lodge and building log guest cabins at the ranch.

The location of the ranch within the guiding territory has been a big benefit and a great starting point for all of the hunts. Inzana Outfitters is a family owned and operated business that proudly adds the family touch to all their adventures.

About Paul Trepus

Paul was born and raised in Northern BC where guiding, trapping and ranching were a way of life for most people. Paul started trapping at the age of nine and after graduating from high school, moved north to Pink Mountain on the Alaska Highway where he made a living running a wilderness trap-line for 3 years. Paul’s love and knowledge of the outdoors led him on as he guided for other outfitters in the area and ran his winter trap-lines. Paul married his best friend Marilyn in 1988 and moved to Prince George where he built their log home, worked as a correctional officer for 10 years and bought a registered trap-line.

Paul is a past president of the Prince George Trappers Association and a past director for the BC Trappers Association. Paul started guiding moose and bear hunters in 1995 for outfitters in the area until finally purchasing Inzana Outfitters. Paul is currently a member of the Guide Outfitters Association of BC and the North Central Guide Association.

What We Do

Inzana Outfitters specializes in full service big game hunting adventures including Moose Hunting, Black Bear Hunting, Elk Hunts and Wolf Hunting. All hunting packages include your accommodations, meals, transportation around our guiding area and a professional licensed guide. Our guides transport all meat, and trophies (such as capes, hides and antlers) from the field and out camps, back to our ranch. We prep all capes and hides so they are salted and ready for transport and will take your meat to a qualified meat processing plant so that it is ready for pick up on your departure date. If you are planning on flying up, we can arrange to pick you up and drop you off at the Prince George International Airport for a nominal fee.

We use pickup trucks, 8-wheel-drive Argos, canoes, lake boats, jet boats and snowmobiles in the winter to move our clients around our guiding area. Horses are only used to pack gear and moose. Whether using spot and stalk, tree stands, cruising shorelines by boat, or game calling, we can tailor each hunt to suit the ability and skill of each hunter.

Our Accommodations

Our main lodge is located on our ranch in the southern end of our guide area where we are on grid and have all the modern conveniences. Here we provide beautiful log cabins with power, hot showers and good home cooked meals. This is where the adventure begins. Our out camps are strategically located on wilderness lakes throughout our guide area in the best fishing and hunting spots. Our out cabins are beautiful well-built and insulated cabins with big wood stoves to keep you warm, dry and comfortable in any weather.
